By default they are located at X:Program FilesMass EffectBioGameConfig. Some versions of convertor included in graphic mods, check them also if target game wont work properly with convertor you are using. If it fails to do so, or if the files have incorrect data, the game will read the default config files that are located in the folder where you installed your game. Files location: The Mass Effect game will read the files inside the Config folder.

Mass Effect 1 Meuitm Mod Crashes While Ing Mac Walters On
As confirmed by Mac Walters on Twitter, a Photo Mode has been added, allowing you to pause the game, move the camera and apply various filters and effects to take screenshots. Loading times have been significantly reduced, especially on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Personally, I remove the stupid vignette effect because, let me tell you, vignette effects are. The shade of red for the 2 square in Mass Effect 2's logo now matches the one in Mass Effect 3's logo. Then come back here on you have installed the software and mod. When using your mod and creating my character i notice that only the soldier's armor appears high res. Yours is the first and most important one i will use for Mass Effect 1.
Kasumi, Zaeed, Overlord, Normandy Crash Site and Firewalker are available after acquiring the Normandy SR-2. The major DLC packs (Kasumi, Zaeed, Overlord, Normandy Crash Site, Firewalker, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival) remain as they were in the original release. The exception is the Arc Projector Heavy Weapon and the Recon Hood, which are available once you acquire the Normandy SR-2. In the case of any weapon and armour DLC, they have been integrated into the game more naturally: you can now Research them or buy them from Merchants as you progress through the game. This includes the Mass Effect: Genesis comic, which now automatically triggers for every save, albeit now with the option to skip it.
Improvements and bug fixes have been made to the Morality system, including accurate representation of your Paragon and Renegade ratios in the Squad Menu's Morality Bars. The UI navigation experience has been improved. Due to the removal of the Cerberus Network, it's impossible to view Cerberus Daily News, which provided canon news snippets that expanded on the world of Mass Effect, and even reflected the lead-up to Mass Effect 3. This means that Arrival's prelude scene with Admiral Hackett still occurs automatically when using the Private Terminal after Horizon.
The Kasumi: Stolen Memory formal wear can still be unlocked, giving Shepard two options for formal wear. The higher-quality Spacer outfits from Mass Effect 3 now replace their Mass Effect 2 versions. The N7 Leather and N7 Hoodie casual outfits from Mass Effect 3 are now available in Mass Effect 2. The Pause Menu options have been reshuffled so that their placement is consistent across all three games.
This makes it easier to scan for Resources since you now know where you've already been. After launching a mining Probe, a marker is placed at that spot on the planet. The Advanced Mineral Scanner still makes it faster, but the increase is less profound as a result.
The overall UI font size has been decreased to look better on 1080 and 4K displays. Legendary Edition also allows you to select modes to favour the resolution quality or the frame rate. 4K resolutions and higher frame rates are now possible, allowing consoles to play the game at 60fps for the first time.
On many assets, details that were previously textures are now models. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is now supported. PC players can enjoy native controller support, 21:9 widescreen, UI navigation improvements, and compatibility with DirectX 11.
Many cutscenes have had their lighting revised. Muzzle flashes now emit light, particularly from enemies. Particle effects have been added and enhanced, such as chunks of rubble added to explosions. It instead uses the Mass Effect 1 head like in the original release, meaning she still gains freckles and blue eyes mid-way through that story. Interestingly, Liara's head does not use the more detailed revision from Lair of the Shadow Broker when outside of that DLC. Assets that appeared in higher quality in Mass Effect 3 have been reverse-implemented into Mass Effect 2, if they didn't age noticeably throughout the trilogy.

Their downward fire streams will still cause damage, however. As mentioned above, the Weapon and Armour DLC has now been integrated more naturally into the game. In the Zaeed - The Price of Revenge DLC, the large metal canisters you can shoot down in the final refinery core room no longer deal damage to Shepard or their Squad Mates. The ammo drop rate has been increased, particularly when using sniper rifles.
Collector Chitin Armor (10,000 Palladium) Collector Assault Rifle (5,000 Iridium) Cerberus Assault Armor (5,000 Palladium) Research Projects (requires Mordin Solus)
The original Female Shepard from 1 and 2 is still available as one of the preset options. The redesigned Female Shepard design made for Mass Effect 3 is the new female default and is available in Mass Effect 2. Because of this, face codes from the original Mass Effect 3 can be used in any game in the Legendary Edition. The Shepard creator is now unified across all three games by being based on the Mass Effect 3 creator, bringing its added hair colours and styles into Mass Effect 2.
Achievements/Trophies are now unified across the trilogy. New customization options have also been added, including hair styles, hair colours and skin colours. Chakwas has her Mass Effect 3 hair, for example. This applies to all characters in the game, so Dr. The options in the Shepard creator have been given visual improvements to the hair, makeup, eye colour and skin tones.
This is so that it matches its look in the original Mass Effect 2 cinematic videos, as well as Legion and Liara's pieces. Shepard's Onyx Heavy Armor in the Normandy Prologue has not been given the additional surface texture treatment it did in Mass Effect 1. The "Continue" option at the bottom of the Mission Complete menu has been removed, since the Back button made it redundant.
